Is this hosted SaaS or self-hosted?
Both. Sign up at projectmanagement.heyitsmoo.com to use the hosted version. Or get the codebase and run it on your own cPanel/VPS — same code, same features, no vendor lock-in.
Why PayPal only? Why no Stripe?
Stripe needs a registered business + bank verification + 2-3 weeks of onboarding. PayPal lets anyone, anywhere collect money in 10 minutes. For a tool meant to be deployed by individual founders globally, that matters.
Can I rebrand and resell this?
Self-hosted licenses include rebranding rights — change the name, swap the cow emoji, replace the colors. The codebase doesn't phone home. Holler@HeyItsMOO.com for licensing terms.
What about my data if you go bust?
Hosted version: full export to JSON/CSV is on the roadmap. Self-hosted: it's your MySQL database. You're holding the keys. Take a mysqldump any time.
Is the Free plan really forever?
Yes. 1 workspace, 3 projects, 5 members. We never sunset Free plans on existing accounts. When your team grows, upgrade to Starter ($9/mo), Pro ($29/mo), or Business ($99/mo).
What hosting do I need to self-host?
PHP 8.1+, MySQL/MariaDB 10+, Composer (for PHPMailer). Tested on cPanel shared hosting and any DigitalOcean/Hetzner droplet. No Redis. No queues. No Node. Boring stack, by design.
